Linear understood something almost nobody dares to act on: speed is a design decision. Everything goes through the Cmd+K palette — assign, filter, navigate — and the mouse becomes optional. This isn't a shortcut bolted on afterwards; it's the very architecture of the product, codified in their "Linear Method".
Their marketing site carries the same honesty: sections of text alternating with full-width captures of the real interface, doing real things. No abstract illustrations, no decorative mockups. The product shows up bare, and it holds the demonstration. I wish more teams had that kind of nerve.
